{past + present = future}

The Company began in 1993 as Rio Grande Medical Technologies. The founders brought together breakthrough technologies from Sandia National Laboratories and the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. The company has grown significantly since its original founders packed into a single room on UNM’s north campus.

InLight Solutions now has over 80 employees and is headquartered in a state-of-the-art facility located in UNM’s Science and Technology Park. The company continues to grow at a rate of over 30 percent per year, and enjoys a multi-year corporate partnership with Johnson & Johnson, a Fortune 500 health care company.

InLight Solutions commits over 20 percent of its operating budget to new product development, actively expanding beyond noninvasive glucose monitoring to address multiple product opportunities made possible by the core glucose monitoring technology.
